APW/Pronto was founded by T. Young Suhr over three decades ago.

Mr. Suhr's unique background in the automotive field has made him extremely qualified to expand his service-oriented company to cover the entire Southern California market.

Mr. Suhr started out as an individual wagon jobber, making the rounds of local gas stations and small auto parts stores. His customers relied on him then, as they do now, for quality products and service. Mr Suhr expanded APW over the years, in response to the needs of his ever growing customer base, all the while maintaining his unique brand of responsive, reliable, personal service.

Today, APW's main customers are independent jobber auto parts stores. The company distributes automotive parts daily from its main warehouse located in Carson, and from satellite warehouses in Gardena, Los Angeles, South Gate, Orange County, Van Nuys, El Monte, and San Diego.

Over 170 employees carry on Mr. Suhr's philosophy and valued tradition of providing superior service to benefit our customers, and ultimately the consumers. In the automotive based economy of our nation, we understand the importance of bringing top quality products at competitive prices wherever and whenever our customers need them.
